The
Scientific Council of the National Academy of Sciences of
Ukraine (NASU) on Radio-Physics and Microwave Electronics,
IEEE AP/MTT/ED/AES/GRS/NPS/EMB Societies East Ukraine Joint
Chapter and Young Scientists Council of the A.Ya. Usikov
Institute for Radiophysics and Electronics (IRE) NASU announce
a two-day Workshop on Applied Electrodynamics of High-Tc
Superconductors and Microwave Electronics. The Workshop
will be hosted by IRE NASU on 22-23 May 2003 in Kharkov –
the leading scientific center and the second largest city
of Ukraine.
Scientific
Program: The Workshop
program will accommodate invited-paper oral sessions and poster
sessions on microwave electromagnetics of HTS, vortex dynamics,
new HTS – MgB2,, microcontact and tunnel HTS spectroscopy,
microwave characterization of HTS, transport properties of
high-Tc superconductors, phase transitions in superconductors
and microwave HTS-based devices and circuits. We welcome
poster contributions from young scientists (under 35)
to any of the above-mentioned fields. Preliminary list of
invited talks is as follows:
