Research on:

• interactions between the electromagnetic fields of wide frequency range and semiconductors, dielectrics, ferrites, superconductors and solid-state structures such as superlattices, periodic layered structures, plasma-dielectric and plasma-metal systems in order to obtain information on the fundamental properties of the considered objects,

• theory of plasma instabilities and nonlinearities in semiconductors; theory of electromagnetic and acoustic wave propagation in bounded semiconductors and periodic layered structures,

• new types of electromagnetic oscillations,

• theoretical and experimental study of the impedance properties of HTSC films and dielectric substrates of large size,

• design of semiconductor sources and frequency converters of small weight and size in the microwave and mm-wave ranges,

• design of the solid-state sources of the mm waveband with the whispering gallery mode dielectric resonators and devices for non-destructive control of materials..
