Abstract
The design and experimental investigation of the automated scanning ESR microscope, detecting the magnetic inhomogeneity of low-profile magnets and ferromagnets by the method of the electron spin resonance (ESR) in the 30-45 GHz frequency band is represented. The strong static magnetic field in the specimen zone under investigation is formed using a special magnetic field concentrator. Mechanical displacement of the specimen relatively to the concentrator working gap with a minimum pitch of 1 µm is provided by the scanning of the static magnetic field on its surface. The first experimental data, which demonstrate the efficiency of the device operation, are presented and analyzed.
