Abstract
The results from in-situ measurements of GPS satellite radiosetting angles over the dry land surface are presented. It is shown that the effects caused by an uneven horizon line can be separated from the variable component resulting from the seasonal variability of tropospheric refraction characteristics. The statistical data processing is based upon GPS satellite orbit synchronism and conducive to grouping the data obtained in the fixed azimuthal directions.

KEY WORDS:tropospheric refraction, radiosetting angle, horizon line
