Abstract
Results of real measurements of radio signals from GPS satellites during the satellite setting over the sea surface are presented. It has been found that the diffuse component of the signal scattered by sea surface shows time-to-time variability which effect is dependent on the wind speed in the region of measurements.
KEY WORDS: GPS satellites, moving average method, diffuse component of the signal, sea state diagnostics
