DISPERSION PROPERTIES OF COUPLED DIELECTRIC WAVEGUIDES WITH NON-EQUAL PERMITTIVITIES

Abstract
The paper presents measurements of microwave dispersion curves, relating to coupled dielectric waveguides with high, non-equal values of millimeter-wavelength dielectric constants. The use of dielectric guides with different variation rates along their dispersion curves may permit obtaining a structure where one of the allowed modes would be characterized by small variations of the dispersion curve. The results may be useful for the design of functional elements of microwave transmission lines.
