Kravchenko E-mail: innov@kture.kharkov.ua Abstract A relation has been derived to calculate the variance of linear wind speed estimates using a single-positioned Doppler radar under the assumption that the wind speed in the local space region of interest is identical and the varians of the Doppler shift estimates is known. KEY WORDS: wind speed, radar, measurement accuracy, Doppler shift References
