Accuracy of Linear Wind Speed Determination by Means of a Single-Positioned Doppler Weather All-Round-Looking Radar

Abstract
A relation has been derived to calculate the variance of linear wind speed estimates using a single-positioned Doppler radar under the assumption that the wind speed in the local space region of interest is identical and the varians of the Doppler shift estimates is known.
