Abstract
A technique for determining the linear wind speed V for each pulse scope of a single Doppler radar only is proposed a relation for calculating the speed V in terms of the measured pairs of the Doppler shifts for two antenna azimuths is presented.

KEY WORDS: meteorological radar, the Doppler shift, wind speed, antenna azimuth
