Determination of the Linear Wind Speed Using a Single-Positioned Doppler Meteorological All-Round-Looking Radar
N.I. KravchenkoKharkiv National University of Radio Engineering and Electronics, 14, Lenin Ave, Kharkiv, 61166, Ukraine Address all correspondence to N.I. Kravchenko E-mail: innov@kture.kharkov.ua Abstract A technique for determining the linear wind speed V for each pulse scope of a single Doppler radar only is proposed a relation for calculating the speed V in terms of the measured pairs of the Doppler shifts for two antenna azimuths is presented. KEY WORDS: meteorological radar, the Doppler shift, wind speed, antenna azimuth References
