Abstract
The problem solution is presented on determining the magnetic flux induced by a plane wave inside of a ferrite cylinder used as a basic element of a high-sensitivity magnetic antenna. The model problem represents the diffraction of a plane electromagnetic wave by an infinite circular magnetodielectric cylinder of an arbitrary radius. Field distributions outside and inside of the cylinder are constructed. A resonance behavior of the magnetic flux is indicated.
KEY WORDS:diffraction, magnetic flux, ferrite cylinder
