Abstract
Result from simulating and optimizing the stripline antenna construction for directed cross-polarized wave radiation are presented. The antenna design was engineering to be used for the medical radiowave therapy apparatus (MRTA)-(hereinafter “AMPBT”), 3-D simulation was performed using the CGT microwave studio program. The VSWR frequency curves, antenna ellipticity factors and 3-D patterns as well as the patterns in rectangular coordinates have been plotted. The results thus obtained clearly indicate that the antenna of the above-mentioned type can well be utilized in medical apparatus.
