4, Svoboda Sq., Kharkiv, 61077, Ukraine Based on the self-consistent statement a solution has been found to the problem on EM wave radiation into a homogeneous medium using a system of combined slotted waveguide radiators in wide wall of a rectangular waveguide. A study has been made of the spatial distribution in a half-infinite material medium whose electrophysical properties match those of certain types of human tissue.
KEY WORDS:rectangular waveguide, slot-waveguide radiator, material medium, hyperthermia. The Galerkin method
