Abstract

The data on the vertical gradients of the refraction factor in atmosphere layers having different height and thickness by the results of refractometric measurements above the Black Sea are presented. The weak interrelation between gradients in various parts of a height profile N(h) for concrete height distributions is shown.

KEY WORDS:  refraction factor, vertical gradient, sea surface
