Investigation of Magnetic Fundamental Mode in Waveguide-Coaxial Resonator

Abstract
Electrical properties of the magnetic fundamental mode within the waveguide-coaxial resonator (WCR) are investigated in the paper. There are obtained calculation dependencies of eigen frequencies and Q-factor values of -mode upon geometrical parameters of the resonator for different values of the relative permittivity of the material filling the coaxial part of WCR. The experimental research results are provided for the 3-cm band WCR model. A good match between the results of calculations and the experimental data is attained.
