Abstract
Amplitude and polarization patterns of the emitter in the form of an open end of the round waveguide with the impedance flange excited by the basic mode wave are measured using the method of indicator antenna with rotation of the polarization plane. It is demonstrated that such emitters possess an axial symmetrical pattern, broad polarization pattern and low level of the side lobes.
