Abstract
Peculiarities of the fluctuation of the Doppler shifts and effectiveness of the surface scattering from above-water objects have been studied in millimeter-wave band. Correlation properties of reflections for different polarization and features of its spectral patterns along with time-changed characteristics have been discussed. It is found that above-water objects have essentially greatest correlation of the signal being scattered at orthogonal polarizations and significantly smaller interval of the angles of arrival then reflection from the sea surface. It is shown that founded properties can be served to develop the Doppler visibility of the above-water objects.
