Abstract
The method for calculation of the unloaded eigen Q-factors, resonance frequencies, coupling coefficients with a transmission line and mutual coupling coefficient of two partial modes with closely located resonance frequencies excited in resonator is suggested. The method is based on the approximation of experimentally or theoretically obtained dependence of complex-valued reflection coefficient of a resonator by a fractional rational function of the real variable that describes the forced oscillation in two coupled oscillation circuits. The method is approbated by using of calculation data of the reflection coefficient of a quasi-optical open resonator (OR) and applied to OR characteristics investigation under conditions of hybrid mode excitation.
