Directional Couplers Based on the Non-Directional Coupling Elements Situated by Principle of the Least Regulated Series
Single-mode non-equidistant waveguide directional couplers on the base of system of the non-directional couplers the distances between which are selected by the principle of the least regulated series were investigated. It is shown that such couplers ensure the greatest possible operating frequencies overlapping band which is determined with the coupler elements number.

Estimation of Numerical-Analytical Models of Microwave Cavity Detectors with a Coaxial Measuring Aperture

Comparison of the quasi-static and electrodynamic approaches by coaxial aperture microwave resonators simulation is carried out. Dependences between fundamental measuring information signals and the material parameters and resonator geometry are obtained. Quasi-static approach error estimation is carried out.

Intrasubband Plasmons in a Finite Array of Quantum Wires, which Contains a Defect
The paper deals with the theoretical investigation of plasmons in a weakly disordered array of a finite number of quantum wires arranged at an equal distance from each other. The array of quantum wires is characterized by the fact that the width of one defective quantum wire differs from the other ones. At the same time this defective wire can be arranged at any position in the array. The increase in the frequency of the local plasmon mode with decreasing width of the defective quantum wire has been predicted. It has been shown that in the case when the defective quantum wire is arranged withing the array, the plasmon spectrum contains modes, frequencies of which do not depend practically upon the width of the defect quantum wire.

Surface Magnetoplasma Waves on the Interface of Two Semiconductor Superlattices
The magnetoplasma waves was discovered at the contact of two periodic semiconductor superlattices, placed into external magnetic field. It is assumed that the vector of magnetic field is situated in the plane of structure layers, and waves propagate in the perpendicular plane. It was shown, that there are three types of surface waves, differing by the phase properties. The dispersion dependencies for the surface waves and distribution of field components was investigated. It was analyzed the energy flow distribution in a surface wave on the layers of lattices.

Microwave Electrode Discharge at Atmospheric Pressure
Power characteristics and geometric parameters of the microwave electrode flare-shaped discharge are studied. The discharge is triggered in the flow of argon at end of the rod antenna. These dependences are compared with the analogous data obtained by means of a known coaxial low-power plasmatron.

Estimation of Mathematical Models of Synchronized Self-Excited Oscillators at Low-Level Synchronization Signals
The order of the shortened phase equation solution using the small parameter method of the fundamentally injected oscillator with low levels of the synchronizing signals has been proposed. Linear differential equations with a constant coefficient were obtained to get the components of the expression representing the solution. It was shown that the theoretical results are in a good agreement with the experimental results.
