Diffraction of H10-Wave by Stepped Rectangular Waveguide Coupling with Impedance Slot Iris
The approximate analytical solution of the problem of diffraction of fundamental mode by impedance slot iris of finite thickness situated in a plane of stepped rectangular waveguide coupling is obtained. For this case it has been supposed that a narrow rectilinear slot coupling aperture of semi-infinite waveguide sections which differ in dimensions of cross-sections has been made in the iris. One (or both) of the iris surfaces is characterized by constant distributed impedance. The solution is based on the induced magnetomotive force method and the method of Green's function for vector potentials. Scattering matrix coefficients of asymmetrical H-plane couplings of two waveguides with impedance slot irises is numerically studied.

Structural Function Development for Electromagnetic Interactions in the System of Multiple Resonant Magnetodielectric Spheres
An approach to derive structure functions of electromagnetic interactions in the system of multiple resonant magnetodielectric spheres is considered. Expressions for magntic- and electrical-type tensor functions of electromagnetic interactions in the system of spheres are obtained, the expressions for structure functions of magnetic and electric type are analyzed.

Electromagnetic Field Structure near the Air-Ground Interface in the Presence of Inhomogeneous Objects
The special features and the structure of the fields excited by the dipole system locating near the air-ground interface have been investigated on the basis of the estimating numerical method of the electromagnetic fields in the bounded regions including medium boundaries with different properties and in the presence of local objects. It is shown that in solving the problems of engineering geology, hydrogeology, and ecology this method can be applied effectively at the study of subsurface probing data.

The System of URAN Decameter Radiointerferometers. Source Structure Simulation
Model trial-and-error method used for source structure interpretation in the decameter radio-wave band are described in the article. The image is presented as a sum of elliptic components with Gaussian brightness distribution; their position, intensity, inclination, magnitude and axes relationship are adjusted in the course of model selection. To coordinate the models with experimental data, the criterion X2 is used. The main relationships for calculations, simulation algorithms, the ways of grouping and selecting solutions, the methods of error calculation are given. The characteristic features of the model selection of brightness distribution over visibility function modules measured by means of URAN interferometer system are shown using the example of ÇÑ 338 radio galaxy.
