Amplitude System of Positioning the Radiation Sources by Means of the Least-Squares Method. Study of the System Accuracy

The amplitude method of location of radiation sources is considered. The method uses airborne radio receivers with sequential samples of a power level of a received signal. The ratio of the signal intensities is processed by means of the least-squares method.

Optimization of Structure and Composition of Information Protection Systems in the Computer-Aided Control Systems

The problems of synthesis of systems providing information safety in the computer-aided control systems are considered. The problem of selection of necessary facilities of information safety from the total amount of similar available (certified) facilities for development of information protection systems with assured resistance to leakage of channels and unauthorized access to information, is formulated in the form of the problem statement of total optimum covering.

Compression and Protection of Information Obtained in Evaluating the Phenomena by Methods of the Catastrophe Theory

The approach to estimation of complex dynamic phenomena by methods of the catastrophe theory is suggested. We have designed algorithms and software tools which allow one to carry out a graphical plotting of bifurcation sets of canonical forms. The complex topological structures represented in the form of graphical images have been reduced to a matrix form. We have studied the possibilities of the given methods for compression and protection of information under conditions of the network data transmission.

Extension of Admissible Ranges of Distortion of Shape and Change in Frequency of Tone Oscillations which are Extracted from a Voice by Means of the Correlation Method

The study considers the ways of extension of admissible ranges of distortion of shape and frequency of tone oscillations which are extracted in a voice by means of the correlation method. We have described an algorithm of estimation of instantaneous values of quasi-periods of sound vibrations on the areas of voiced phonemes. This algorithm insures sufficiently high reliability of extraction of a fundamental tone.

Synthesis and Analysis of a Controlled Flat-Laminated Medium for of Amplitude and Phase Keying of Reflected and Transmitted Signals

Algorithms of parametric synthesis of amplitude-phase keyers of reflection and transmission types are designed. The condition for reaching the limiting values of phase deviation and ratio of magnitudes of transmittance and reflectance are analyzed. Expressions for parameters of a new-type keyer in the form of a controlled flat-laminated medium of a mixed type are determined.

Analysis of Efficiency of the Noise-Immunity Encoding in Channels with Discrete Frequency-Aggregate Signals

Analysis of efficiency of noise immunity coding in channels with discrete frequency-aggregate signals is carried out. It is shown that there exists a possibility to increase efficiency for noise immunity coding in channels with multiple-position signals. Here, presentation of such systems on the basis of cascade codes is a productive tool.

The Distinctive Features of Testing Microcircuits for Electrical Devices

The microchips (IC) for electric devices offer a number of nonstandard parameters. This requires that special flexible techniques for testing these parameters should be employed in the course of a manufacturing process. In the present paper the IC structural features allowing the testability of these microcircuits are examined, and the PC-based measuring complex is described.
