A. A. Êirilenko, L. A. Rud, S. L. Senkevich, V. I. Òkachenko

5-16

The study presented in the ðàper is concerned with the synthesis and analysis of thå small-size LPFs în ñîrrugated waveguides with nî matching transformers having arbitrary height sections. An algorithm of the step-prototype synthesis is described in more detail and the peculiarities of its execution are discussed. The rigorous electromagnetic algorithms have been used to design and realize the software for the synthesis and àanalysis of the LPF chàractåristics în the IBM ÐÑ. An effect of external and internal algorithm parameters în the filter characteristics both in the passband and the rejection band has been explored. The proposed filters are shown to considerably åõñål the conventional design with matching transformers in mass-dimension parameters but to compose unfavourably with them in broadbandedness.

The first is based on the addition îf two parts of the output signal which is initially divided and the second is based on the interaction of the noise oscillator with its own reflected signal (autodyne effect). Using these two methods permits to form ànó shape of the power spectrum.
