Kirichenko A. Ya., Martynyuk S. P., Motornenko A. P., Skuratovskiy I. G.

465-470

The resonance structure composed of the disk dielectric resonator (DDR) and auxiliary dielectric disk the diameter of which is more than DDR diameter has been considered. The disk is located on the main resonator axisymmetrically and its permittivity is less than DDR permittivity. This resonator was named as a composite disk dielectric resonator (CDDR). The resonance peculiarities of the high azimuth electromagnetic HE- and EH-oscillations of the whispering gallery in CDDR for the millimeter wavelength band have been experimentally investigated. The influence of the strongly absorbing liquid located in the auxiliary disk on the oscillations characteristics in this resonator has been studied too.

SCATTERING OF ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES BY STRIPS SYSTEM WITH VARIABLE FRACTAL DIMENSION

Koshovy G. I.

471-475

The scattering problems of electromagnetic waves by strips systems with variable fractal dimension is considered. The cross-section of the system is an stage of the CSA-fractal. The problem is reduced to a system of singular integral equations (SIE) of the first kind. The system of the SIE is convenient both for application of the mechanical quadratures method and for its transformation to a second kind's integral equations by the Vekua-Carleman's method of regularization. Except for common dynamic model of the scatterer the quasi static model (it supposes a simple explicit solution) is presented. Numerical results of far-zone field’s calculations are carried out.

To explain resonant behavior of the perforated screen with circular under cutoff holes the eigenoscillations of the screen as open resonant structure are considered. The effect of enhanced transmission through such screen is investigated. It is found that the initial origin of those effects is the existence of the eigen-oscillation of the interface between the free space and the metal that is perforated with double-periodical set of holes.

TRANSFORMATION OF THE ELECTRODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF THE QUARTERSPHERE DIELECTRIC RESONATOR BY THE COUPLING SLOT IN THE MIRROR

Kogut A. E.

498-507

It is shown, that as against the hemispherical dielectric resonator excited on the whispering gallery modes by the coupling slot in a mirror, spectral and power characteristics of the quartersphere dielectric resonator, and also distribution of resonant fields of modes depend on position of a coupling slot on azimuthal coordinate. The existence of the whispering gallery modes is possible in the quartersphere dielectric resonator in the case of the open one plane basis.

Characteristics of such dielectric resonator are investigated. It is shown, that the quartersphere dielectric resonator can form base of the power adder for summation of the power more than two Gunn diodes. The modes of mutual synchronization of oscillations of two and three diodes in the quartersphere resonator are investigated.

Skresanov V. N., Golovashchenko R. V., Nechayev O. G.

508-514

Experimentally regularities of coupling a quasioptical dielectric resonator (QDR) to a microstrip line are discussed in Ku-band. It is offered to organize coupling in space “a microstrip line placed under QDR”, which differs from a known mode of connection “QDR placed on a microstrip substrate”. It is shown, that at connection by a mode “a microstrip line placed under QDR” an energy loss of a resonance field in a substrate are negligible small as contrasted to natural energy losses in QDR. Presence of several coupling areas, disjointed by zones of lack of coupling both for quasi-E, and for quasi-H oscillation modes is revealed.

Brovenko A. V., Melezhik P. N., Poyedinchuk A. Ye., Troshchylo A. S.

515-525

A new method is suggested for solving the problem of electromagnetic wave diffraction by a strip grating placed at the boundary of a hyrotropic ferromagnetic medium. The method is based on the analytical regularization procedure and uses explicit solution of the Riemann-Hilbert boundary value problem with the conjugation coefficient depending on the excitation wave frequency.

Numerical algorithms and calculating programs realizing the method have been designed. The reflection coefficient of a strip grating attached to an ideal ferromagnetic medium is studied as a function of the excitation wave frequency. The frequency region of the total reflection of an E-polarized plane wave has been found. Long-wavelength approximation formulas describing the principal harmonics of diffraction spectrum have been obtained. The frequency range of their application is shown.

IMAGING USING A NON MOVING ANTENNA ARRAY, NOISE SIGNALS AND SAR METHOD

Lukin K. A., Mogyla A. A., Vyplavin P. L.

526-531

The work is dedicated to elaboration of a method of SAR imaging using noise/random signals and a non moving and non switching antenna array which were proposed in [1]. The main idea of the method consists in the extraction from the total signal of one channel receiver the signals radiated by a single element of the array. Such separation is done using correlation reception of the noise/random signals radiated and received by a antenna array with mutual delay between antenna elements higher than the correlation time of the radiated signal. Attractive advantage of the suggested the method for SAR imaging consist in no need in either mechanical motion or electronic switching of the antenna array elements, which simplify its design and lower the cost. The SAR imaging algorithm is described and the results of modeling of SAR using this antenna array are presented.

Due to a lot of factors influencing radiowave attenuation over oceanic surface as well as the lack of regular experimental data the complex radiophysical investigations were carried out in the different regions of Atlantic, Indian, Arctic and Pacific oceans. The results obtained allow creation of attenuation factor distance dependence data base. The latter makes it possible to solve rationally the problems of data arrays control, operative access and arrays selection according to the function of inquiry.

Averkov Yu. O., Bass F. G., Yakovenko V. M.

552-557

The resonance interaction of the Rayleigh wave and a surface helicon, which propagate along an interface plane of a vacuum - solid-state plasma in the presence of high magnetic field, is investigated. The obtained results give the possibility of excitation of a surface sound with the aid of a magnetic dipole that is placed near the interface. The expression for the decrement of the collisionless relaxation of the Rayleigh wave into bulk helicons is derived. It has been shown that at low temperature this relaxation mechanism dominates over usual collision relaxation of a surface sound.

Lobzov L. D., Shulika N. G., Belan V. N.

598-609

The appearance of multipacting discharges in diod gaps of multicells structure of ion linear accelerator, without system stability electrodynamics parameters, is considered to be one of the main breaking factors of its electrodynamics parameters, when it is impossible to achieve the required characteristics of accelerating fields, but also the stable RF generation in its general system of complex connected oscillatory contours, which is broken by the indicated discharges in one of them. With suppression of conditions of secondary electron multiply and of removing of the possibility of their number growing in time up to the size of multipacting discharges, the conditions of the stable RF generation and work the whole system of accelerator agitation on the whole, may be satisfactory. For many starting-repairing and technological works on the accelerator, the solving of a problem of the suppression of parasite multipacting discharges and the reaching of stable character of RF voltage installation is considered to be the final stage. It is experimentally shown the control of multipactor processes, from their maximal influence on the character of transitional processes of installation of RF voltage on the elements of structure of linear accelerator up to a full suppression resonance multiply electrons with material electrodes and the achievment of nominal amplitudes of accelerating fields in linear accelerator.
