L. P. Yatsuk
212-217
The rectangular waveguide filled with a three-layered dielectric inside and with a longitudinal slot in its broad wall is considered. The eigen waves method is modified in order to obtain the convergent solution for the magnetic field excited in this waveguide by the slot. For this purpose the potential functions have been obtained for a waveguide with a three-layered dielectric filling. They are used for expanding the magnetic current which is present in a clear form in the solution obtained with the eigen waves method. The convergent series were obtained for the partial inner admittance of the slot considered. The velocity of these series convergence practically does not depend on the width and permittivity of a dielectric slab inserted into the waveguide in parallel with its narrow sides.

It is found that nonlinear surface polaritons with monotonic decaying of electromagnetic field exist in the same frequency range as linear surface polaritons. It is found out that nonlinear surface polaritons with non-monotonic decaying of electromagnetic field propagate in the frequency range which is the non-passage range for linear surface polaritons. The influence of the electron plasma frequency on the dispersion properties of the nonlinear surface polaritons is determined.

For aqueous solutions, changes of complex dielectric permittivity in mm range have been discovered. It was found a decrease of hydration value pointing on a weakening of ordering influence on water environment for irradiated DNA in comparison with the influence of native one. The effect is explained by violations of DNA conformation due to irradiation. IR spectra derived indicate on essential distortions of secondary structure of the macromolecule while electrophoresis points on considerable disintegration of DNA.
